Steve Winwood finished up tour with Eric Clapton
Steve Winwood just finished up a spectacular summer tour with former Blind Faith band member Eric Clapton on their “Two Legends, One Live Experience” tour, which began in East Rutherford, New Jersey and ended at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.
This is the second summer the two have performed together – last year, they played a number of shows at Madison Square Garden in New York.
A CD/DVD documentary is due out on the 2008 shows this fall. In the shows, they performed a number of tracks from Blind Faith’s album, as well as covers of Jimi Hendrix’s “Voodoo Child” and “Little Wing.”
